Dr. Satabdi Dey is a Consultant Fertility Specialist Trained at Seth GSMC and KEM Hospital, she completed her MS and DNB in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and went on to specialise further in reproductive medicine, with a clinical focus spanning fertility counselling, IUI, IVF, and third party reproduction.
Dr. Dey has supported numerous couples through their journey to parenthood, combining careful clinical planning with calm, structured guidance. She is known for helping patients make sense of complex options and timelines with clarity, empathy, and steady decision making.
Alongside clinical work, Dr. Dey has been actively involved in public education and professional forums. She has coordinated fertility awareness initiatives through FOGSI, delivered teaching focused online seminars, served as Organising Joint Secretary for YUVA FOGSI 2024, and played a key role in organising EAST ZONE YUVA FOGSI 2020. She is also an active member of leading professional bodies including FOGSI, ISAR, IFS, and IMA.
She remains engaged academically and has contributed to textbook chapters. She was recognised as ET Budding Fertility Specialist of the Year in 2023, and her research work was accepted for presentation at ASPIRE 2024, reflecting her commitment to evidence based practice and continuous learning.
